Stanbic Bank Stanbic Bank is one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of Stanbic Africa Holdings Limited which is the licensed commercial Bank in Uganda. Under the name of the National bank of India, the bank was established in 1906 and its headquarter is in Kampala. In 1991, when Standard Bank acquired the Grindlays Bank that time it became Grindlays Bank. The bank provides a wide range of banking products and services. Such as loans, savings, debit and credit cards, investment and mortgages.

DFCU Bank Development Finance Company of Uganda Bank Limited or DFCU Bank was established in 1964 and it headquarter is located in Kampala. DFCU bank is the second-largest commercial bank in Uganda. The bank offers Debit and Credit cards, Investments, Loans, savings and mortgages etc. There are more than 70 branches and 100 ATMs across the country.

Centenary Bank The bank was founded in 1983 and it became a wholly registered licensed commercial bank in 1993. Its headquarter is located in Kampala Uganda and it was a catholic founded commercial bank. Centenary Rural Development Bank Ltd offers savings, investments, debit credit card and serves more than 1.5 million customers throughout the country. The bank has a network of 70 branches and 175 ATMs.

Standard Chartered Bank The oldest bank in Uganda is Standard Chartered Bank which was established in 1912. Its headquarter is located in Kampala. This is the first bank in Uganda to introduce VISA electronic debit cards and free phone banking services. Standard Chartered Bank of Uganda, through its network of 11 branches and 29 ATMs in the main regions of Uganda, provides a variety of banking products and services, including debit cards, savings, investments, loans and checks.

Equity Bank Uganda bank was established in 2008 and it is the fastest-growing bank in Uganda. The bank operates a network of 35 branches and 40 ATMs across the country. It offers a wide range of banking products, savings, loans, checks and investments. Equity bank considered one of the top ten banks in Uganda due to its income and deposits. Its headquarter is located in Kenya and it is a subsidiary of Equity group holdings Ltd.

Barclays Bank of Uganda Ugandan Uganda Barclays Bank Ltd started its operations in 1927 and it headquarter is located in Kampala. The bank offers a wide range of banking products and services, SME and large companies, loans, savings, checks and investments etc. The commercial bank acquired the Bank of Nile Uganda Co., Ltd. in 2007, thereby further strengthening its business in the country.

Bank of Africa Uganda Bank of Africa Uganda Ltd is a financial service provider started its journey in 1984 in the name of Sembule Investment Bank and its headquarter is in Kampala.
