The bank provides corporate, retail and investment banking services. It has approximately 16,200 employees supervises 413 branches and 3,823 ATMs across the country. The bank also has branches in Shanghai and New York and has representative offices in United Arab Emirates, Johannesburg, and Addis Ababa.

HSBC Bank Egypt Cairo based HSBC Bank Egypt was established in 1982 and is a subsidiary of HSBC Holdings Plc. The bank operates 60 branches and seven small departments. It has approximately 1,800 employees.
